What/How/Why?: Pre- Primes - IIIrd Form How can you make a structure out of newspaper? How can you make it tall enough to stand in it? How many shapes can you incorporate? What if we filled the bathroom with balloons? How many of them could we fit? What if they were round? Long? How can we find out if all the kids in a class stood upon one another’s shoulders, which Lower School class would be the tallest? How many times can you write your name on a piece of paper in a minute? What amount of paper would you go through if you wrote your name for three days? Why, if you design and make three paper airplanes and fly them, one will go farther than the others? What style of paper airplane travels the farthest? What style flies the fastest? What can you do to adapt your design for increased speed? Increased distance? If these kinds of wonderings appeal to you, or if you have other burning questions you’d like to explore, join What/How/Why?!
