Page 2: RUMBLE

(1Ki 18:19-24) Now therefore send, and gather to me all Israel unto mount Carmel, and the prophets of Baal four hundred and fifty, and the prophets

of the groves four hundred, which eat at Jezebel's table. So Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount Carmel. And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then

follow him. And the people answered him not a word. Then said Elijah unto the people, I, even I only, remain a prophet of the LORD; but Baal's

prophets are four hundred and fifty men. Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in

pieces, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: and I will dress the other bullock, and lay it on wood, and put no fire under: And call ye on the name

of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It

is well spoken.

(Jas 5:17) Elias was a man subject to

like passions as we are, and he prayed

earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and

six months.

Ahab sent unto all the children of Israel, and gathered the prophets together unto mount

(1Ki 16:32-33) And he reared up an altar for Baal in the house of Baal, which he had built in Samaria. And Ahab made a grove; and Ahab did more to provoke the LORD

God of Israel to anger than all the kings of Israel that were before him.

(1Ki 18:21) And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between

two opinions? if the LORD be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the

people answered him not a word.

Page 17: RUMBLE

(2Ki 17:33) They feared the LORD, and served their own gods,

after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from

thence.

(2Ki 17:41) So these nations feared the LORD, and served their

graven images, both their children, and their children's

children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.

Page 18: RUMBLE

(Jas 4:4) Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever

therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

(Exo 32:26) Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD'S side? let him come unto me. And all the

sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.

Page 19: RUMBLE

(Jos 24:15) And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you

this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side

of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell:

but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

(Mat 12:30) He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth

not with me scattereth abroad.

Page 20: RUMBLE

(Rev 3:15) I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or

hot.

(Rev 3:16) So then because thou art lukewarm, and

neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Page 21: RUMBLE

(Tit 1:16) They profess that they know God; but in works they deny

him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good

work reprobate.

(2Ti 3:5) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power

thereof: from such turn away.

Page 22: RUMBLE

(Mat 6:24) No man can serve two masters: for

either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and

despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and

mammon.

Page 23: RUMBLE

(Jas 1:6-8) But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven

with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any

thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in

all his ways.

(1Ki 18:23-24) Let them therefore give us two bullocks; and let them choose one bullock for themselves, and cut it in pieces, and lay it on

(2Ki 16:3) But he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, yea,

and made his son to pass through the fire, according to the

abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out from before the children of Israel.

Page 31: RUMBLE

(Exo 13:21) And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and

night:

Page 32: RUMBLE

(Exo 3:2) And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a

flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the

bush was not consumed.

(Lev 9:24) And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the

burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they

shouted, and fell on their faces.

Page 33: RUMBLE

(Act 2:3) And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as

of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

(Heb 12:28-29) Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot

be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God

acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a

consuming fire.

Page 34: RUMBLE

(2Th 1:8-9) In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
