29 SECTION S HORSE SECTION Convenor Colleen Smith 08 8766 2086 / 0427 662 086 Email: [email protected] Rules and Regulations: • Post entry for all rings except dressage & HRCAV which close on Friday 18th Feb • All handlers, riders and exhibitors to be current members of the Lucindale PA & H Society • NO LUNGING ON THE OVAL AT ANY TIME. • Please keep off SE Field Day site at all times. • Overnight camping Oval & Dressage area – $20 powered site. • No entry accepted without waiver form signed. • Entry fee $15/horse plus membership $10 adults $5 juniors. • A wristband obtained upon entry to grounds counts as membership for Lucindale PA & H Society and must be worn both days when making entries. • A bridle number must be collected for the show upon completion of waiver prior to the start of the show. • All competitors compete absolutely at their own risk. No entry accepted without waiver form signed. • Stallions may compete in jumping, led and harness classes only. • The convenors and committee reserve the right to alter the rotation of classes at their discretion. • It is expected that once a horse has won two qualifying classes for the show, it will not compete in further similar qualifying classes for the show. • All riders must wear approved helmets. • Horses are not to be tied to oval fence at any time. • Grounds to be clean of manure and holes filled in, manure to be placed in trailers or bins provided. • Lucindale PA & H Society and Ag Society SA & EA Affiliated. • The Lucindale PA & H Society will not be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury to rider property or mount. RULES AND REGULATIONS: Riders in this ring may not compete in ring one, two or three except for Pony Club or local events. Ponies may compete in other rings with a different rider. Open to riders under 12 years who do not normally compete in open classes. Approved hard hats and boots with heels must be worn. An adult in all events may assist child. PARTICIPANTS INDEMNITY & WAIVER Risk Warning for over 18yrs

The Agricultural Societies Council of South Australia Inc. Advises that the participation, including passive participation, in horse sports activities at an agricultural show contains elements of risk, both obvious and inherent. Horse sports are a dangerous recreational activity and horses can act in sudden and unpredictable ways, especially if frightened or hurt. The risks involved may result in property damage and/or personal injury including death.

1. I, the undersigned acknowledge, agree and understand that participation, including passive participation, in horse sport activities at this, or at any show contains an element of risk of injury and I agree that I undertake any such risk voluntarily of my own free will and at my own risk.

2. I, the undersigned acknowledge, agree, and understand the dangers associated with the consumption of alcohol or any mind altering drugs before, and during the activities and I take full responsibility for any injury, loss or damage associated with their consumption. I agree not to drink alcohol or take drugsprohibited by law before or during any horse sport activities.

3. I, the undersigned acknowledge the risk referred to above and agree to waive any and all rights that I, or any other person claiming through me, may have against the LUCINDALE PASTORAL, AGRICULTURAL & HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY INC in relation to any loss or injury (including death) that is suffered by me as a result of my participation at this show.

4. I, the undersigned agree to continually indemnify the LUCINDALE PASTORAL, AGRICULTURAL & HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY INC on a full indemnity basis against any claim or proceeding that is made/threatened or commenced and any liability, loss (including consequential loss and loss of profits), damages or expense (including legal costs on a full indemnity basis) that the LUCINDALE PASTORAL, AGRICULTURAL & HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY INC incurs or suffers, as a direct or indirect result of my participation in any event held by the LUCINDALE PASTORAL, AGRICULTURAL & HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY INC.
