Classic bolection

The Bolection is an elegant style of moulding that has been popular

since the 18th Century. Classic form and line mean the Bolection is

comfortably at home in the most traditional of interiors. However, by

applying new proportions, we have managed to create a wonderfully

versatile fireplace with a truly contemporary appeal. Available in a

narrow width for smaller room installations.

Frazier

Modern architecture and changing tastes have led to a growing need

for new interpretation of the traditional Bolection. An innovative

adaptation of a classic design, the Frazier is an impressive fireplace

that marries the timeless form and proportion of its 18th Century

predecessors with contemporary simplicity. Also available with a

mantle (1840 overall width).

HAZELBERRY ABBEY

The Hazelberry Abbey is one of our largest cast stone fire

surrounds, and has a strong, comforting presence in the most

open f interior spaces. The height of the Hazelberry Abbey can

be increased, which makes it ideally suited for taller ceilings and

wood burning stoves. The result is a striking fireplace that will

become the focal point of any room. Available with a choice of

Plain or Oak and Acorn spandrels.

HAZELBERRY MANOR

Strong enough to create its own atmosphere in any room, the Manor

was the first fireplace in the Hazelberry range, and was designed

to be versatile. Another in our range of cast stone fireplaces with

the classic form and clean lines that suit both traditional and

contemporary spaces, the Hazelberry Manor can be produced with

Plain or Oak and Acorn spandrels.

hazelberry LODGE

Retaining the handsome look and feel of the Hazelberry

Manor, the Hazelberry Lodge is a more compact version

that is perfectly suited to giving a distinguished feel to

smaller rooms. As well as the Plain or Oak and Acorn

spandrels that are available in the Hazelberry range, the

Lodge offers a third option of a Thistle carving.

hazelberry cottage

The Hazelberry Cottage is a sturdy little fireplace, ideal for the smaller room with a narrow chimney breast. The

character of the Cottage can be radically altered by the choice of different decorative panels. The intricate detail of

the Oak and Acorn panel gives it a delicate appearance, whereas the more architectural Egg and Dart panel creates a

strong dynamic feel. The Cottage Panel and the Cottage Plain Panel are both unadorned and have a classical simplicity.

For those who prefer a softer alternative to the traditional Tudor arch, the latest addition to the Hazelberry range is the

Cottage Round Arch (RA), which was specially designed for us by a Royal architect.

At Rudloe we design firepalces with purity of line and

form. The natural result is the Rothko, which combines

classical proportions with the innate simplicity and slim

profile of the picture frame surround. The Rothko allows

for the use of a wide variety of fire appliances. Available in

slim and standard.

SHELDON

We created the Sheldon in response to demand for a compact fireplace that could be used with an arched, cast iron

insert. So whether it’s the elegant simplicity of the Classic or the more decorative Hawthorn, with its interwoven arches

of leaves and berries, the strong, arched stone lines and cast iron insert makes a striking impression.

DesignWhen designing our fireplaces we concentrate on purity of line and proportion, to give a classical elegance to both traditional and contemporary surrounds.

Our understanding of the physical properties of the stone with which we work allows us to design fireplaces that make the most of its unique beauty.

To complement and enhance this, our in-house designer has created a range of decorative panels and spandrels, featuring finely detailed relief modelling of extremely high quality. These unique designs, of a type so prohibitively expensive in quarried stone, are exclusive to Rudloe Stoneworks.

The design skills and experience Stoneworks has acquired since specialising in natural limestone fire surrounds in 1985 has made us the first choice with many leading interior designers and architects.
