Write a two paragraph summary in the comment section stating: how this photograph meets the requirements, and the value of this assignment to you.

Comments: I have chosen this photo for the scenic shot. I like this shot for several reasons. I purposely left the beginning of the stream dark because I wanted the dark to represent something foreboding and ominous. As the stream calms and begins to come closer the light gets brighter and the waters become more peaceful.

I especially like the front bush and the colorful foliage further back. I am sure the photo would be better if I could go back and get the shot this week with the leaves changing more vividly. I am pleased with the exposure and I like the shot as a whole. The value in this shot includes the ability to use the photo in a lesson on Georgia streams and water systems, sedimentation, and water falls in Georgia.

Rebecca,Your scenic shot shouts out color, color and more color. Truly a beautiful seasonal shot is represented in this photo. I especially like that you have managed to capture the movement of the wind in the shot in a way that adds to the idea without distracting or distorting the photo.

There is some type of white box or sign near the back left tree. The sign is out of focus and would probably be a good idea to photoshop that sign out. All in all this is a lovely photo and well taken.

Comments for other peersKimberly,

Your photo from Tallulah Gorge is beautiful the scene is captivating and the exposure is nice. I am reaching for suggestions to make it better.  Perhaps using the histogram to strengthen the green in the leaves would add a little pop and color to the overall photo.

Carol,

What a beautiful shot.  There are many things I like about this photo.  The depth of field is great and the composition is exciting and keeps the viewer staring at the photo.  Using photoshop to add to the shadow quality might darken the shadow lines of the trees in the background.  I would be interested in seeing if that would make the other colors richer.
