Rubber protective systems shall be made of high impact resistance rubber to a number of different size and colour configurations. The system comprises of elements which will control the speed of travel of vehicles, thus protecting people, the structure surface, and other vehicles in the park. It also incorporates other elements which are purely for impact resistance, in order to avoid or minimize the potential damage to a structural component such as a column, a wall or a loading dock area, when impacted.

FeaturesThe system has an aesthetic finish with concealed fixings, is easy to install, maintenance free, and has excellent resistance to UV and weathering.

Some of these elements are listed below

Wall Gard for the protection of walls & circular columns.

Speed Gard supplied in modules, works on the control of vehicular speeds in the car park.

Wheel Stopper is utilized for protection of kerbs, edges and structural elements.

WABO® D Gard

Features

Rubber Loading Bay Bumpers are heavy duty extruded or moulded profiles to withstand the impact and load of the loading and unloading vehicles. Bumpers protect the wall from damages and cracks. The impact level of these bumpers are very high. Bumpers are made of good quality, high density compounds to withstand resistance, deflection on impact and heavy impact.

Size

Rubber Bumpers can be manufactured to clients specification or as per cross section and quality details given below. Some of the standard sizes are:

Installation

All bumpers are installed by expansion bolts. The size of the bolts will depend on the section of the bumpers. Bumpers will be supplied with pre drilled holes.Standard bolts size: 1/2” dia x 6” or 4” long expansion bolts.

WABO® CLM Col Gard

DescriptionThe WABO® CLM Col Gard is designed to protect the edges of columns in structures.

MaterialsThe WABO® CLM Col Gard is made of a high impact resistance extruded rubber profile. Standard colour is black. Yellow reflective cover strips are available on request.

Range of sizesThe gard is available with or without galvanised metal insert clips with various dimensions.

Standard lengthsThe standard lengths of the WABO® CLM Col Gard are 1 meter and 1.2 meters. Other sizes can be provided upon request

InstallationPlace clip on the wall at a distance of 100 or 150 mm from the finished floor level and mark the hole positions on the wall.

Drill holes in the wall by using suitable drill bits.

Fasten the clip to the wall using M6/M8 screws and plastic plug.

Slide the rubber gard from the sides.

Clean the Corner gard using dry cloth to clear dust.

Alternatively they can be fixed to the column surface using the BASF epoxy resin Concresive 2200.

WABO® K GardDescription

The WABO® K Gard is specifically built to be used as a wheel stopper

Materials

Wheels stoppers are made of high impact resistence extruded rubber and have excellent weather resistances crack resistance and abrasion resistence quality.

Sizes: Wheel stoppers are available in the following sizes:

Standard Length: The standard length of a wheel stopper is 2 meters.

Installation

Mark Straight line at a distance of 800 mm from the concrete/ block wall.Remove the yellow coloured reflective strip from the Rubber Wheel Stoppers.Lay the Wheel Stopper straight on the line.Mark the locations on the floor.Drill holes to suit M12 Expansion bolts.Fasten the Wheel Stoppers with the bolts.Insert back the yellow coloured reflective strip into the Rubber Wheel Stopper.

WABO® S Speed GardDescription

The WABO® S Speed Gard is designed to control the speed of the vehicles.

Features

The standard gard units are 400mm wide x 68mm high at the centre tapering to 0 heights at the ends.Length of a standard unit is 250mm.One meter length of the WABO® S Speed Gard will comprise of 4 units alternating in black and yellow colours.Two end piece units in black colour are provided for each length of the gard.Reflective eyes are provided on both the approach sides of the speed gards.

Installation

Mark Straight line on the location where the Speed Humps are to be installed.

Place the Speed Humps straight on the line marked.

Locate the hole and mark the same in the floor.

Drill holes into the floor by using suitable drill bits.

Fasten the Speed Humps by using M10/M12 expansion bolts.

WABO® W Wall Gard Description

The WABO® W Wall Gard is designed to protect walls and round section columns.

Materials

The WABO® W Wall Gard is made of a high impact resistance rubber profile and can be fixed horizontally or vertically onto flat or curved surfaces. Standard colour is black.

Standard lengths

The WABO® W Wall Gard can be supplied as per customer specification and could be manufactured to a maximum length of 4 meters.

Installation

Fixing holes are drilled with a centre to centre spacing of max. 600mm. The gard may be secured to the substrate by means of an expansion or chemical anchor.
