RTP and Interfolio- for Candidates
Setting up your case in Interfolio
• A ‘case’ will be created for you in Interfolio by either your department chair, DRTPC chair or Faculty Affairs
• You will receive an email from Interfolio notifying you that the case has been created and is now ready for your use.
Check that your case is correct• Make sure that the case was
created using the template that corresponds to the RTP action requested.
• Each template has the RTP deadlines built into it
• If requesting early action for tenure, also request reappointment to a probationary year.

Adhere to RTP Deadlines
Files Shared with You
• When files are shared with you, you will receive an email message prompting you to log into your account and view the files.
• Log in to Interfolio
• You will see an action item indicating that a file has been shared and an indication if a shared file is open for a response. You can click on your name to view the packet.
Save Shared Files to Dossier• You can download the file or copy
it to your Dossier where it will appear in your Dossier materials.
• You can also click the “Actions” button to the right of the page to copy or download all shared files.
10 Days to Respond per CBA• You will see a link labeled “Send Response” and a
due date for when your response is due.
• Please note: This is a hard deadline and you cannot respond to shared files after the due date.
• Give your response a title and upload the document file.
• Your response will appear in the list of shared files.
