The newly constructed Silver Line is the latest

extension of the DC Metrorail system. With the

first phase complete and the second phase

underway, the Silver Line will extend the rail to

Washington Dulles International Airport and

beyond. Of the 11 new stations planned along

the Silver Line, the Reston Town Center Metro

Station will be located at the doorstep of RTC

West. When completed, the new line will offer

HARMONIOUS DESIGN

The building facades are cloaked in a warm

gray with coral undertones made of precast

concrete, complemented by stone. Reflective

ribbon windows, divided by green metal

mullions, provide added depth to the

buildings. RTC West is capped with decorative

parapet walls and welcomes its employees

by way of two-story glass vestibules. The

geometrically tapered corners of each

building offer a composed architectural style

that is less rigid than its counterparts and

more amicable in design.
