JULy!!

The best, most extraordinary and

special adventure.

Hard to put into words just how much happiness, excitement, companionship

and pride buzzed through our company from the first

to the very last second of the trip…

But it was…FANTASTICALLY FULL ON!!!

The plays were exceptionally received and if you follow RSS Facebook you

should be able to see our opening introductory film which played over the

backdrop as the cast stepped on stage.

It was HOT HOT HOT out there but we found

beautiful spots to swim in the sea on Friday afternoon and Sunday morning…

…visited the stunning historic capital city of Valetta twice

…and spent Sunday afternoon in the ancient towns of Mdina and Rabat.

One of the most special things was the bond

that struck up straight away with the Maltese students from

Masquerade…and we look forward now with great excitement to

hosting their performance for us here next year…

REALLY COULD NOT BE MORE PROUD OF THE FLAG THAT

WE FLEW FOR THE RSS, FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WORLDWIDE

AND FOR MAKING SOMETHING WONDERFUL

ACTUALLY HAPPEN.

It struck me that through theatre we were not only creating an

experience that would last a lifetime but also carrying a textual,

resonant message across the world,

performed with brilliance by our

young

company of

actors.

It has to be said

that we did bring an

exhausted troupe home who really made the most of

their celebratory days and nights! But dreams of

life-long friendships, travel and realisation of our

success will last for ever…and who can blame them

for dancing the night away…!

proud that we

looked after

each other

and

PULLED IT

OFF
