Our health and safety

Chevron Holdings

Inc.(CHI) is one of Chevron’s

operating business units in the

Philippines. It was established in

1998 as the 1st Regional Operating

Headquarters (ROHQ) in the country.

Work in CHI is computer intensive.

Our goal is to prevent injuries that affect

our people and operations.

CHI has an extensive focus on

preventing work-related

musculoskeletal diseases (MSDs) or

Repetitive Stress Injuries (RSIs).

• MSDs/RSIs are real and they are hurting our workforce

but companies have yet to invest in Ergonomics.

• People need to keep up with the evolution but we don’t

change as fast as technology is. However, we can do a

lot to help our workforce through Ergonomics.

• Proactive approach is cheaper, less injuries and yields

higher returns of investment.

• Our Ergonomics Specialists drive the program and

ensures that every person goes back to their families

healthy and safe.
