Description of main duties and responsibilities
I acted as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives in directing the daily site activities.
Checked plans, structural and utility drawings and BOQ (Bills of Quantities) to ensure accuracy of calculations and for material procurement and planning activities.
I ensured that all materials used to execute works were as per specifications. Mobilized resources and supervised the implementation of activities. Prepared progress reports on a monthly basis and provided guidance to sub-contractors on the adherence

9. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I graduated with a Bsc. Civil Engineering from Makerere University and I carried out a research project investigating the effects of rainfall and abstraction on ground water levels. On a personal level I have also been researching on alternative materials in Road construction
My participation in engineering projects has provided me with significant experience in overseeing a wide
range of civil engineering projects, including roads, and building construction. I can plan, design, supervise and
manage construction projects effectively.
In addition, the projects that I have undertaken have honed my project management skills in building strong
working relationships with clients, giving instruction to building workers and ensuring a quality process from
start to finish.
During my career I have participated in government led civil engineering projects, all have been successful. My
progressive engineering experience backed with public procurement knowledge has provided me with the
opportunity to develop strong client relation building skills and an ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams. I am
experienced at applying the principles of civil engineering when planning, designing, and overseeing the
construction and maintenance of structures and facilities.
I would welcome the opportunity to work in any developing country around the world.
10. YOUR MOTIVATION (reasons for your applying for the FCA Roster
I have devoted my life to engineering with sole purpose of getting contact with almost every phase of human
activity. I look towards contributing to the advancement of humanity since, as a Civil Engineer I have come to
realize that, not only do I make important decisions about the mere mechanical outline of structures and
machines, but I’m also confronted with the problems of human reactions to environment and constantly
involved in problems of law, economics and sociology. With this realization I welcome any opportunity that
provides me a chance to change the world.
The Objectives of FCA Roster match my experience, knowledge and career aspirations and would be an ideal
opportunity for me, and I believe it will provide me with a platform to perform.
