A New Chapter for B&N College Design a new concept that provides college students with an immersive and experiential beauty

destination within Barnes & Noble bookstores on campus

• Encourages beauty brand education and discovery while driving overall in-store traffic • Design reinforces Barnes & Noble’s unique brand heritage while reaffirming the philosophy of

selection, innovation, price competitiveness and quality

• Shops are adaptable for a variety of footprints, store types, and brands with all planograms and graphics being modular and updateable

• Combination of gondolas, wall fixtures, floor stands and highlighters differentiate mass from prestige and provides an organized way of communicating and navigating brands and

categories

• Engaging environment with bespoke illustrations, bright colors, and well-organized merchandising • Mirrors, tools, trash and lighting further enhances the shopping and sampling experience • Key experiences and features include clean well-stocked shelves, clear signage, displays and

the opportunity to test and sample products

BEAUTY BRANDS

Prestige Retail Store Redesign

Complete visual and in-store identity reinvention including environmental design and fabrication, fixture design and installation, and strategic merchandising

• Designed and elevated new store concept in collaboration with famed architect Kiku Obata • 4,000 square feet of luxury salon services among 6,000 square feet of prestige product offerings

for a total of 10,000 square feet • Innovative prestige retail solution that attracts premium brands and discerning consumers

• 30 national rollouts in process

• Stores are bright and contemporary with a branded integration of materials including wood, lacquer, color core laminates, and powder-coated steel

• Fixture package includes cosmetics stations, gondolas, fragrance bars, perimeter wall fixtures, tester displays, and open-sell merchandise system

BIRCHBOX

Bringing Birchbox from E-commerce to Brick and Mortar The first brick and mortar flagship store for the online-exclusive beauty subscription service including design, merchandising, production, and installation.

• Over 4,200 sq. feet on two floors, an expansive loft space with 15-foot ceilings, a grand feature wall, a glass and stainless-steel staircase, and a BYOB (Build Your Own Box) area

• The personality of Birchbox is defined by unique design elements such as marquee letters, neon signs, the use of birch, and the strategic reinforcement of the iconic diamond pattern

• RPG contributed its expertise in retail design, merchandising, and manufacturing to facilitate a brand-new shopping experience that introduces product by category, rather than by brand

• The store itself holds the same selection online of over 250 brands and 2,500 products, highlighting Birchbox’s point of difference as personalization and curated storytelling

• Use of technology creates a distinctive omni-channel experience with interactive iPads and large video screens, as well as a rewards system that is connected to online subscriptions

• Extensive tester displays and stations, as well as a full salon, create a playful environment for customers to explore new brands and products with or without assistance

WALGREENS

Masstige Expansion

Partnered with Walgreens to design and manufacture their most ambitious masstige launch of 2015

• Rollout of over 4,000+ units for Colour Prevails by Nonie Creme and Circa by Eva Mendes • Developed four different modular display fixture configurations with updateable planograms and

graphics • Mirrors, testing units, and trash receptacles are included on all fixtures to enhance customer

experience

• Fixtures are constructed of multiple materials including powder-coated steel, wood, and gloss laminate. There are16 unique product trays manufactured of injection molded and vacuum formed plastic

• RPG partnered with TPR and Nonie Creme to design and develop the full Colour Prevails product

line, conceptualizing the packaging vision for all 150+ SKUs

COLUMBIA CARE

Brand, design, and build a groundbreaking concept in a burgeoning category, starting with a flagship location in Manhattan’s Union Square

Medical Marijuana Dispensary

• Applied branding, retail design, manufacturing, and project management expertise to Columbia Care’s unique vision for ten dispensaries

• Contemporary, comfortable environment balances Columbia Care’s compassion, medical mission and connection with natural medicine
