Emphasis is given to the maintenance of road use tax funds, and the preservation and enhancement of the existing transportation network before considera- tion is given to service expansion. Program transportation projects that aid in the mobility of people and products of Region 10. Increased mobility and transportation linkages will enhance the region’s economic and growth potential. Provide modal service alternatives to expand the transportation sevice area of Region 10, including highways, transit, trails, rail, and aviation services. Each mode has a unique ability to improve our ways of living and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the overall network. PLANNING GOALS
