PREPARATIONWipe wood with soft lint free rag. Sand lightly with 400 grit sand paper. Wipe off dust. Basecoat with Multi Purpose Sealer, dry. Sand again and wipe off all dust.

PAINTING INSTRUCTIONSBasecoat the entire Easel with two coats Titanium White.

Trace design onto tracing paper. Lay graphite paper beneath tracing paper. Transfer major designs only using stylus.

Sides of EaselPick up Lamp Black on a #4 fl at brush and paint stripes all around the Rotating Easel.

SKYBasecoat the sky area True Blue. Using a circular mo-tion with your hand and a small Deerfoot brush scrub in some Titanium White clouds.

ROLLING HILLS IN THE BACKGROUNDBasecoat the hills in the background fi rst. Paint one hill Dioxazine Purple and Titanium White mixture, shade with Dioxazine Purple, and highlight with a dry brush-ing of Dioxazine Purple and Titanium White. Paint an-other hill Navy Blue and Titanium White mixture, shade with Navy Blue, and highlight with Indian Turquoise.

SOFT ROLLING HILLS, ROADS AND FIELDSSoft rolling hills in the front are fi rst all base coated with Hauser Light Green. Shade with a fl oat of Ever-green. Dry brush a highlight with Sour Apple. Float lines of Evergreen to make rows in the green gardens.

The fi elds are base coated with Cadmium Yellow. Shade with a fl oat of Burnt Sienna. Float lines of Burnt Sienna to paint rows in the fi elds. Dry brush a highlight with Lemon Yellow.

Basecoat the roads Sand and shade with Burnt Sienna. Use a 10/0 liner and paint some road details lines.

RED BARN & HOUSEBasecoat True Red, Shade Napa Red. Dry brush high-

light of Pumpkin. Paint the Windows Lamp Black and outline with a 10/0 liner and Titanium White on barn windows only. Roof is a mix of Titanium White and Lamp Black to make a soft grey color. Shade Lamp Black. Dry brush a Titanium White highlight.

CHURCHBasecoat the church Titanium White. Paint the win-dows and door Lamp Black. Make a grey mix of Tita-nium White and Lamp Black and paint the roof. Shade the church with French Grey Blue. Shade the roof with Lamp Black, Dry brush a highlight of Titanium White on the roof. Use a 10/0 liner and Titanium White to paint trim around windows and door.

TURQUOISE HOUSE AND FLAGBasecoat the small house Indian Turquoise. Shade Navy Blue. Paint the roof True Red. Shade Alizarin Crimson. Paint the windows Black.

Base coat the fl ag Titanium White. Use a 10/0 liner and paint the square section Navy Blue and the stripes True Red.

SHEEPBasecoat the sheep French Grey Blue and then with a small Deerfoot brush tap in Titanium White to paint their shapes. Paint the faces, ears and legs Lamp Black.

BUSHES AND TREESUsing a small Deerfoot brush and Black Green tap in the shapes for bushes and trees. Highlight with Hauser Light Green and Sour Apple. Dry brush some with In-dian Turquoise. Paint the tree trunks Burnt Umber.

LARGE TREEBase coat the trunk Lamp Black. Dry brush a highlight with a mix of Burnt Umber and white. Use a 10/0 liner and Burnt Umber to paint some tree detail lines.

Use a medium Deerfoot brush and pick up some Burnt Umber to tap in foliage. Pick some Burnt Sienna, then Pumpkin to tap in more foliage.

FENCEPaint the fence with a small round brush and Lamp Black. Highlight by painting again using Titanium White.

Wood Frame Around the Rotating EaselPaint the top boards Lamp Black.

ROSES AND BUDSTransfer the roses design on this board. Paint the roses and rose buds True Red. Shade Alizarin Crimson, high-light Titanium White. Add Cadmium Yellow dots in the center of each fl ower.

VINES AND LEAVES ON THE SIDESPaint the long winding vine using a 10/0 liner and Black Green, paint the leaves Hauser green light. Shade Black Green. Paint dots of True Red. randomly along the vines.

FINISHINGUse two coats of Dura Clear Satin Varnish.
