1. INTRODUCTION AND GENERAL DESCRIPTION

KIVI GRUPP needs a rotary drum to use as a dryer for LIMESTONE.

ANIVI experience shows that products which in theory are quite similar present in practice

completely different behaviour. Prior to a final supply sample of the product could be required.

The connecting ducts between the dryer, bag filter and fan are not included in our scope of

supply, however if you so require, we can take charge of their construction drawings.

In the technical study we have considered that the corrosion, and chemical activity of the product

in general, either in itself or due to previous processes, is inexistent and does not have negative

effect on the use of carbon steel as construction material.

Design inlet and outlet moisture are that showed under the working conditions. Lower inlet

moisture or higher outlet moisture will decrease the energy consumption and incresase the plant

capacity. On the contrary higher inlet moisture or lower outlet moisture will increase energy

consumption and decrease the plant capacity

On the basis of the mentioned gas energy value and condisering a Natural Gas density of 0,8

Kg/Nm3 we have simulated two scenarios with different inlet moistures and indicating the

different energy consumption.

3. SCOPE OF SUPPLY

3.1 DRYER

ONE PARALLEL FLOW ROTARY DRYER for limestone, including the following elements:

SHELL

• One shell fabricated in carbon steel.

• Internals have spirals for product inlet and properly studied flights to lift the product.

• X-ray of all the shell cruciforms are included.

• In the product discharge zone, the shell is provided with a cover with a strong central shaft.

ROLLING

• One forged steel tyre, with machined surfaces.

• One rollers assembly with forged steel rollers, machined surfaces and supported by a shaft

on supports with bearings.

• One tyre-rollers lubricating system by means of graphite blocks.

• Partial guard of tyres and rollers.

• One supporting baseplate for the rollers assemblies, in welded construction with rolled steel

sections.

• A double spherical roller bearing with support is assembled on the central shaft which serves

as a support for the shell together with the tyre located at the side of product inlet.

DRIVING

• One 22 kW motor gear box, diectly mounted on the central shaft, capable of transmitting the

necessary power and the suitable speed.

• One baseplate for support of driving unit, fabricated in welded construction with rolled steel

sections.

INLET AND OUTLET BOXES

• One hot gases and product inlet box, fabricated in carbon steel plate.

• Inner inlet box lining by means of isolating bricks totally assembled in our workshop.

• One feeding tube fabricated in stainless steel.

• One gas and product outlet box, fabricated in carbon steel plate, equipped with a “FA” valve,

for product discharge.

COMBUSTION EQUIPMENT

• One gas “Monobloc” modulating burner, nominal thermal capacity of 2.114 kW, equipped with

an electric motor of 4 kW, which drives the combustion air fan.

• One gas line, including 2 electrovalves, one sealing valve, filter, pressure stabilizer,

manometer and ducts compensator. Stabilised pressure feed of 250 mbar minimum and 300

mbar maximum is required.

• One gas tightening electronic control equipment, by means of diaphragm pump.

• One automatic ignition and flame supervision security system.

3.2 AIR EQUIPMENT

• One continuous service and fully automatic reverse pulse jet bag filter, provided with:

Discharge rotary valve with motor-reducer of 0,37 kW.

Differential pressure bags cleaning timer.

Structural steel to support the filter.

For bags cleaning compressed airflow of 29 Nm3/h is required. Filter inlet pressure shall be

6 Kg/cm2.

• One induced draft fan, driven by motor of 18,5 kW.

3.3 INSTRUMENTATION AND CONTROL

• Two temperature gauges and probes for gas outlet temperature.

• One safety equipment to protect the filter bags including a pneumatic emergency valve for

fresh air inlet.

• One pressure control equipment for maintaining the dryer at a constant negative gauge

pressure, including a pressure transducer.

• Bags cleaning pressure drop timer.

3.4 MOTORS AND ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

TRANSPORT

Not included.

If you so wish, ANIVI INGENIERIA, S.A. will engage the transport, quoting for it accordingly.

As a guide only, the quoted dryer can be transporter in one 40’ O/T container and for the rest of

the equipment 2-3 containers are necessary.

ERECTION AND COMMISSIONING

Not included.

ANIVI INGENIERIA, S.A. considers important that its qualified staff carries out the Plant Erection

Supervision and Commissioning. In this way a good mechanical operation and an optimum

efficiency of the Plant are guaranteed.

The cost of these services will be charged according to the rates in force at the time of carrying

out the work.

GUARANTEES Process guarantee

ANIVI INGENIERIA, S.A. guarantee the Plant performances according to the Working

Conditions stipulated under the paragraph 2. of the present quotation.

ANIVI INGENIERIA, S.A. guarantees the machinery against any manufacturing fault for a period

of 12 months from the date of the starting up or 15 months maximum from the date of delivery

of the machinery, taking the shortest time. Those pieces spoilt because of mishandling or those

subjects to a natural wear are not considered manufacturing faults.

QUALITY

ANIVI has the ISO-9001 Quality Certificate and manufactures all the equipment according to the

necessary procedures and requirements.

All our equipment is manufacturing according to the European Standards 2006/42/EC (on

Machinery Security) and Directive 2006/95/EC (relating to electrical equipment designed for use

within certain voltage limits).

NORMS

All the equipment, accessories and machinery supplied by ANIVI INGENIERÍA, S.A. are

manufactured and comply with the EC Directives of obligatory fulfilment and meet the Normative

and Technical regulations applicable and in force in Spain on the date of manufacturing.

Any Normative or Particular or Local Technical Specification not included in the Quotation or the

Sale Contract have to be expressly sent to ANIVI INGENIERÍA, S.A. so that its technicians study

the adjustment of equipment to them and/or if necessary, value the modifications to be made.

The Norms or Technical Specifications not included in the Sales Contract or the Order will not

be considered.

Our supply does not include the delivery of the Official projects authenticated for applications for

Equipment and Plants homologation, Work Licence requests or Installation Permits in the

competent Institutions.

All the documentation included in the supply will be specifically listed in the Quotation or the Sale

Contract. Any other documentation to be supplied will have to be expressly requested before

the signing of Order, for being valued and included in it.

INFORMATION TO SUPPLY

ANIVI INGENIERIA, S.A. will supply ONE COPY, in English language, of the following

information with the equipment:

• Machines anchoring drawing with loads for the design of the foundations to be manufactured

by a specialised company.

• Erection, Operation and Maintenance instructions Manual.

• Ducting construction drawings from preheater to bag filter and from bag filter to induced fan.

VALIDITY OF THE OFFER

• 2 month.

DELIVERY TIME

• 5-6 months, to be confirmed in case of order.

• The delivery time counts from the date the order is fully defined as far as technical and

commercial aspects are concerned and the down payment has been fulfilled.

• For the delivery time do not count Christmas, Easter and August for holidays period.

5. PRICES

Price of equipment described in paragraph 3 “Scope of supply” results:

The above-mentioned price is for delivery of the equipment EXW (INCOTERMS 2010) without

packing.

TERMS OF PAYMENT

• 25% with the order, as down payment, by bank transfer.

• 75% by the opening of an irrevocable Letter of Credit in our favour, to be advised confirmed

and payable through any of the following banks and effective as follow:

15% at three months from order confirmation (main materials workshop reception).

60% upon delivery of shipping documents.

This Letter of Credit should be opened and confirmed within 20 days from down-payment.
