RESEARCH WORK DONE
• Versatile Laser Razor equipment: An Innovation which got provisional patent number 4111/CHE/2012 on 1/10/2012 and final patent applied on 1/10/2013. The innovation was selected as a finalist under the category of Healthcare Delivery by Medexpert Business Consultants Pvt. Ltd. Under the banner of Medicall Healthcare Innovation Awards 2013. The selection as finalist appeared in Deccan Herald newspaper on Sunday, August 11, 2013. The innovation was called by NRDC (NATIONAL RESEARCH DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION) to present the working of the innovation.
• A Grossing Covering (With Dr. Shakil M et al.). Equipment designed to eliminate the ill-effects of formalin during grossing for which final patent was applied in 2012.Was invited by 3M innovation centre, Bangalore to present the innovation. Innovation got selected in i3 (India Innovation Initiative) among the top 40 innovations from India which was asked to be demonstrated in National Fair held in Delhi. Innovation was presented in front of Manjunatha Maiya from Philips innovation after the former took an interest in the innovation. This innovation (briefing) was broadcast in AIR (All India Radio). An article on the innovation has been invited by a medical magazine company.
• Won 3rd prize under the category of best poster presentation in 33rd Annual Conference of Indian Association of Biomedical Scientists. Prize won occurred in IQRA magazine.
• Giant cell Granuloma case published as first author.
• Innovations published in patent journal.
