In Year 2 this week we started the topic of ‘Reach for the Stars’ (Space) and thechildren were looking at how Earth is the optimum place for life to grow and that otherplanets, because of the climate differences (among other things) affected this. Hereare the children trying out their own Venus, Earth and Saturn planets at different

    temperatures!

In Year 1 (and Year 2) they were introduced to their new Enrichment Time topic ‘Reach for theStars’ and as well as beginning to look at space and the planets, they also looked at theirambitions for what they currently want to do when they’re older. The children featured belowwant to be footballers, play the piano and be a queen of the animals and drive a bus.

Well done to these children! Next week the focus is onplayground behaviour, kindness, sharing and enjoying our facilities responsibly.

The Musician of the Week  goes to Robyn in Nursery Class. Her behaviour and level of effortduring Tuesday's music session was amazing! She really enjoyed singing Auld Lang Syneand took part in the dance with enthusiasm. Well done you!

The rtist of the Week goes to Olivia M in Nursery Class for her brilliant self-portrait she drew inconjunction with Nursery Class’ topic ‘ All about Me’. Lovely work Olivia!
