ProductsLoparex offers release liner solutions on a wide variety of paper and film substrates. They provide all silicone types and curing methods to optimize the release properties of the final product.

LOPASIL® Direct Coated Papers are paper release liners with silicone coated directly on one or both sides. Base paper and silicone formulation solutions are selected to provide the specific desired properties suitable to each intended end-use application. All are available with either a solvent-free or a solvent-based coating and with easy or modified release properties. LOPASIL® liners are often used in applications when strength and temperature resistance are critical, as well as applications requiring the most economical solutions.

POLY SLIK® Poly Coated Papers are extrusion coated and siliconized release papers with good dimensional stability, layflatness and smoothness. POLY SLIK® liners are widely recognized for their versatility with C1S and C2S polycoating and silicone combination. This product line is ideal for certain uses within the graphics and medical markets.

PRIMELINER® Direct Coated Films include direct silicone coated polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyester (PET), and polystyrene (PS) films with either one- or two-sided release options. In addition to standard one- and two-sided silicone coatings, they offer very stable one and two-sided siliconized liners with the option to use solvent-based or solvent-free chemistries. A typical FILM PLUS® Poly Coated Films construction has would have polyolefin extruded onto two sides of a PET film, then silicone coated on onto one or both sides. Alternate base films can be used to meet application specific needs. These liners are ideal for certain uses within medical, industrial and tape market segments.

Loparex has multiple Blown Films lines with a wide range of capabilities to produce various plastic films. Each film resin type provides a unique blend of properties. Before Loparex, he was an Executive Vice President and a Business President at Chemtura, until its recent sale to Lanxess. While there he led the Petroleum Additives division, and then the larger Industrial Performance Products division. Although he ultimately moved to the commercial side, he started his career as a technical professional, working as a Process Engineer and then an Operations Manager with ICI Chemicals and Polymers after receiving his Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from Teesside University.

Jan Hillbrink, Managing Director of Loparex EuropeJan Hilbrink is Managing Director of Loparex Europe. He has over 35 years of experience in the industry, having worked in sales, marketing, operations and procurement in various roles. He graduated with a degree in Chemical Engineering and began his career in technical sales for Hercules, building extensive international experience in Europe and the Middle East.

Jan joined Loparex in 1993 as Sales and Marketing Director and continued building his career in operations and procurement as Plant Manager. In 2005, he assumed his current position as Managing Director.

In 2011, Jan moved to Thailand for two years to build and start the newest Loparex factory from the ground up. He returned to Apeldoorn, Netherlands, in 2013 to contribute to the very successful volume growth in Europe. In his free time, Jan enjoys spending time with his family and maintaining an old restored farm property and its surroundings.

This is a critical professional role within the business that is vital to overall commercial success. Responsibilities

� Leads collaborative, cross-functional efforts to design winning business models and routinely measures their success and continued fit for Loparex and their customers.

Location Information Netherlands and surrounding areaAs the name indicates, the Netherlands is a low-lying country in geographical terms. Another popular location near Apeldoorn is Arnhem, a little more than a half-hour’s drive south. This city is home to one of the largest zoos in the country, Burgers’ Zoo, which is separated into eight themed areas including an indoor tropical rainforest (Burgers’ Bush) and a massive aquarium (Burgers’ Ocean). Another notable attraction is the Netherlands Open Air Museum, which has previously won the European Museum of the Year Award. At the Open Air Museum, visitors can step into the past and see an antique paper mill, farmhouses, and WWI German border crossing, as well as historical re-enactments.

Amsterdam is the capital and most populous municipality of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Amsterdam's name derives from Amstelredamme, indicative of the city's origin around a dam in the river Amstel.

The city is also the cultural capital of the Netherlands. Famous Amsterdam residents include the diarist Anne Frank, artists Rembrandt van Rijn and Vincent van Gogh, and philosopher Baruch Spinoza. Amsterdam's main attractions, including its historic canals, the Rijksmuseum, the Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum, Hermitage Amsterdam, Anne Frank House, and Amsterdam Museum draw more than 5 million international visitors annually. Shops in Amsterdam range from large, high-end department stores such as De Bijenkorf founded in 1870 to small specialty shops. Amsterdam's high-end shops are found along the streets P.C. Hooftstraat and Cornelis Schuytstraat, which are located in the vicinity of the Vondelpark. One of Amsterdam's busiest high streets is the narrow, medieval Kalverstraat in the heart of the city. Negen Straatjes are nine narrow streets within the Grachtengordel, the concentric canal system of Amsterdam. The Negen Straatjes differ from other shopping districts with the presence of a large diversity of privately owned shops. Other shopping areas include Haarlemmerdijk and Haarlemmerstraat.

The most important museums of Amsterdam are located on the Museumplein (Museum Square). The northeastern part of the square is bordered by the very large Rijksmuseum. The northwestern part of the square is bordered by the Van Gogh Museum, Stedelijk Museum, and House of Bols Cocktail & Genever Experience (a gin museum). The southwestern border of the Museum Square is the Van Baerlestraat, which is a major thoroughfare in this part of Amsterdam. The Concertgebouw is situated across the street from the square. To the southeast of the square are situated a number of large houses, one of which contains the American consulate. The square is also the most prominent site in Amsterdam for festivals and outdoor concerts.

In regards to education, most Dutch schools are privately run, and supervised by the state. They are free of charge for all children in the Netherlands up to the age of 18. The Dutch school system is divided into primary (Basisonderwijs) and secondary education (Voortgezet Onderwijs). After eight years of primary school, a recommendation regarding further academic options is issued to all children.

Amsterdam has two universities: the University of Amsterdam (Universiteit van Amsterdam), and the VU University Amsterdam (Vrije Universiteit or "VU").
