ABOUT EXPO DRINK & WINE
Wines, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages trade show
EXPO DRINK & WINE 2018 - Wines, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages trade show will take place in
the same period with ROMHOTEL – International exhibition for equipment, furniture and supplies for hotels
and restaurants, a fair with complementary themes, Pavilion B1.
Following a complementary research on topics fairs, and public events related to both, and to raise awareness for the fair, period 19th to 21st April 2018 is conducive to attracting a larger number of companies and trade visitors from the alcoholic and non-alcoholic industry. Having as main goal to support the alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages industry, EXPO DRINK & WINE is the meeting place for professionals in the alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages industry, offering them the possibility to interact, for three days, in a professional environment. Within the trade fair, the exhibiting companies have the possibility to launch new products and equipment, to organize tastings, competitions and demonstrations, into a dedicated location with a specialized audience.

EXPO DRINK & WINE 2018 takes place in one of the
new exhibition areas that Romexpo has open in the
fall of 2017 – Pavilion B1! With a total area of 11,905
square meters, the Pavilion B1 is the ideal location
for hosting international fairs and exhibitions.

In Romania there an over 500 companies active in the production of
non-alcoholic soft drinks, the production of mineral waters and other
bottled waters, buy only 330 have a turnover higher than zero. Their
cumulated business amounts to 4,7 billion ROL
(over 1 billion euros), according to a ZF analysis based on data form
the Ministry of Finance.
For the 100% natural juice segment there is a recovery starting in 2016
after the decline recorded in recent years, with the premises for a
further upward trend.
Even if is a disputed category, energizers continue to grow faster than
other segments of the soft drinks market, marking an increase of 16%
in volume and 17% in value, between october 2015 and september
2016, according to data of Retail Audit Nielsen, at the level of the entire
Romanian trade.
According to the National Mineral Waters Society the mineral water
consumption in Romania is 50-60 l per person, compared to 100-105 l
per person, The European average, higher in the urban environment.
Romanian’s prefer in overwhelming percentage (99%), domestic
brands of natural mineral water, comparing with the import brands,
based on a competitive price and favorite pack as 2 L PET.
