TransformedTherefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God — this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:1-2

“Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.” Genesis 22:12The angel of the LORD called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, “I swear by myself, declares the LORD, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you… Genesis 22:15-17a

“Stinking Thinking” A “Woe is me” attitude A “My life will amount to nothing” attitude A “God is not pleased with me” attitude An “Everyone will disappoint me” attitude An “It’s everyone else’s fault” attitude“We can’t afford the luxury of ‘Stinking thinking’ because stinking thinking produces stinking results.” Gayle Rosellini
