35 Or WHO HAS FIRST GIVEN TO HIM THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN?
36 For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.

How come different people have different responses to the same pressure?
Pressure
Stress
May have NO control…
…We DO have control over how we respond

PressureWhat is the origin of these
pressures?
God claims responsibility
for them!
•Psalm 115:3
•Isaiah 46:9-11
•Lamentations 3:37-38
•Isaiah 45:5-7
Solution?
When experiencing trial/pressure…
Ask yourself the famous 4…
1. Could God have prevented this?
2. Did He choose to?
3. Then what’s the lesson I need to learn from this?
4. How do I glorify Him as I go through this trial?
Solution?• Give thanks in all circumstances
– 1 Thessalonians 5: 16-18: – “Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything
gave thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus”
• Remember the purpose of trials– James 1:2-4: – “Consider it pure joy, my brethren, when you
encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.”
