Bacău Bacău County is situated in the

Central-Eastern part of

Romania.The result of this

geographical position is the

continental climate with a

temperature of about 4-6°C in

the mountain region and 8-9°C

in the river meadows and with a

yearly average of rainfall of

500-550 mm/sm.

• It has an area of 6.603 km² (standing for 2,8% of Romanian area) 42,2% of this area is covered by forests and 55% are farming fields.

• The county consists of 3 cities), 5 towns and 79 communes with 480 villages.

them within “The Educational Days”.

Europe: commercial routes

and cultural trades

There are 8 partner schools

from Germany, Finland, Italy,

Turkey, Latonia and Czechia.

We have worked on the elements

which encourages commerce and

cultural trades in Europe all the time.

The objectiv was to organize

the democratical elections for

the president of Students’ Council.

The elections followed the same rules as the presidential ones : electoral campaign, electoral bureau, ballots, stamps, electoral lists, ballot box.

maps of Europe in the

school yard. Each

country was presented

by a student who

carried the country’s

flag.

Europe in high school

The tick-tacks of European Union

the project consists in making an appeal on the internet to all young people from Europe and Romania with the following text:

“if there is a clock in your town which announces the exact hour through a melody or specific sounds send a photo of it together with its historical story and on the 9th of May 2005 at 12 o’clock we invite you to take part at a discussion on internet regarding this theme.”

The clock is the measure of time and the second

is the same for all Europe’s countries.

The meeting consisted in the participation of our students at the show organized by the Park’s and Nature’s Friends Association from Italy and Europe.

The team from our high school received the most important prize from the competition: the Cup of Town San Nicandro Garganico
