Victor’s thirst for the knowledge

Frankenstein was a young Swiss boy, from a wealthy

family. He has desire or hope to discover the “power” of “the needle” and he has “ardent

curiosity” to achieve something.

He has quest to be like god and superior just like Christopher Marlowe

Conclusion• Thus, the novel is largely shaped by the contrast between

hubristic hopes and human despair.• This hope and despair is comes one by one into the novel• We can not say that the end of the novel is either hope or despair.
