Roles and responsibilities of each member of the group

There were only three people in the group so one person had to take on two roles.

The first role is the minute’s keeper/Liason. This role includes keeping all the notes together from all the meetings and makes sure everyone gets a fair say. The things that need to be produced as part of the role is all the minutes’ notes from each week up to the final week, and then typed up into a word document emailed to everyone in the group and then uploaded on to blogger. The skills that are required for this role is, you need to be organised; you also need to be competent and meticulous inn their approach. You also need good communication skills and managing skills. The group decided that I (Chelsea-Ann Cook) should take up that role, because I never forget to bring thing to the lesson, I am good at keeping people occupied and to also make sure everyone has a fair say in the meeting.

The next role was the Lead organiser. To be a lead organiser the skills that are required are good communication skills, managing skills and competent. The role involves being in charge of fairly distributing out tasks within the group, ensuring all deadlines are met and ensuring all work is completed to the standard that the teacher expects it to be. The things that need to be produced as part of this role is the production schedule weekly overview and to make sure everyone knows what they have to do and when it needs to be completed by. For this role the group also choice I (Chelsea-Ann Cook) to do this role. They said because I have good managing skills and I always know what needs to be done and what people should be doing.

The third role to be handed out was the Artistic director. This role includes someone who is creative and can help anyone in the group creatively. The skills required are being creative and have a good knowledge on art. For this role nothing has to be produced for the group but they need to be on hand for anyone in the group that may need help with artistic things. For this role as a group we choose me to be the artistic director. We choose him because he has good knowledge for artistic things and has good communication skills and good teaching skills so we are able to learn from him.

The fourth and final role was the DT Specialist. This role includes someone who has a good knowledge on DT and knows what to do when making the sculpture which revolves around DT. Nothing needs to be produced apart of the role. But they need to be able to help out when needed. To do this role the skills that are required are good knowledge on DT, good communication skills and good teaching skills. Sajan Rajpoot was choose to do this role by the group because he does DT for one of his options which gives him more of an understanding in DT which will help the group make the sculpture.
