AIMS OF THE PROJECT

Influencing every coeliac patient must have access to diet consultation

– Good Treatment Guide: cosultation should be given twice during the first year, then if needed

Developing the Know How of dietitians

- Content, quality and customer oriented approach of the consultation

Reducing the risk for complications

- Preventing and mending poor diet therapy

Prevention of big national diseases

Producing tools to support professionals and coeliacs

- A guide for diet consultation, a brochure of a healthy gluten-free diet

• 2-day regional training sessions for dietitians

10 training days to update know how of dietitians and

coeliac nurses around Finland

Diet Consultation Model for the Coeliac Patient, 250 pcs

and 8 implementation sessions for dietitians in 2012

Brochure of healthy gluten-free eating
