Roedean Moira House is the first school in the Roedean Group of Schools. We are extremely proud that this girls’ school in Eastbourne will launch in September 2018, and will be run by Roedean with new vision and new leadership. It will provide wonderful opportunities for girls who are just starting their educational journey all the way through to completing their secondary education and going out into the world. Roedean Moira House will offer a truly exciting alternative to the independent school market in Eastbourne.
As an outstanding preparation for life after school, Roedean’s educational model is to offer a genuinely holistic and academic education which enables pupils to enjoy their education, develop their own interests, and discover their academic passions. We are delighted that girls in Eastbourne and beyond will have access to a Roedean education, which is characterised by a commitment to academic excellence, high-quality pastoral support, and an exceptional range of opportunities beyond the curriculum, all within a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Roedean Moira House will provide this model in Eastbourne, under the executive leadership of Oliver Blond, and we look forward to seeing the great things we can achieve.
1 To raise academic standards by improving the quality of teaching and learning, and developing intellectual independence.
2 To develop an exceptional holistic education, allowing all students to flourish in a variety of fields.
3 To provide an inspiring and safe learning environment, complemented by outstanding facilities.
4 To provide a coherent and clear school structure, the schools in the group, and the different sections within each.
5 To create a strong and confident market niche for the school at an affordable and competitive price.
