Stardust’s Steely Dan Rocky Mountain Horse owned by: Acadiana Stables, Kentucky Larry & Noemi LeBlanc www.acadiana-stables.com Dan is 12 years old, a black dun (also called grulla). He is a typical example of a Rocky Mountsin Horse stallion: gentle, mindful and willing to please. His ambling gait is perfectly smooth and square, and he can perform it at various speeds. He also has a great canter. Dan has produced top quality foals, passing along his gentle temperament, natural gait, and, in many cases, the hair gene and rare color as well. Dan was a successful show horse, though in recent years has served primarily as a breeding stallion and a trail riding companion. He is quite versatile, he participated in ACTHA rides and last year tried his luck and skill in the Extreme Cowboy competition. Visit Dan and his owners at Stall # 710
