Mercy Sunday - April 27, 2014. They will be proclaimed as new saints as, for the first time, two living Popes are in attendance. A

live broadcast will be announced as the date nears. The ceremony is set to begin at midnight EST on Sunday, April 27.

Thank you to our 3rd grade class and Mrs. O'Connell for the wonderful Last Supper presentation yesterday! It is a

special Holy Week tradition for our students!

Earth Day Project !

The DAV bin in the back parking lot serves as a fundraiser for the school. When the bin is full, the amount we raise is based on the weight of the materials donated. DAV also provides a curbside

program which will help us earn even more. Please remember us during your Spring Cleaning, and bring your donations to St. Mary

Rockwood!

Kindergarten Super Stars

Week of April 7: Madelyn Furtah is this week’s Super Star! Madelyn is five and 1/2 years old. She lives in Brownstown, MI and has a new baby sister, Arianna, who is two weeks old. !Madelyn loves all colors, but her favorite is hot pink. Madelyn’s favorite activity is swimming. She swims in her grandma’s pool, at the lake and in Florida. Madelyn’s favorite subject at school is Letterbook and reading. When she grows up she would like to be a doctor for babies. Madelyn says she is a super star because she is a really good listener. Madelyn’s mom and dad think she is a super star because she is kind to everyone, gives the best hugs and is the very best big sister. Ms. Kremer thinks Madelyn is a super star because she loves to share information and stories with others. She is an excellent reader who always tries her best and is kind to everyone!

!Week of April 14:

Audrey White is this week’s Super Star! Audrey is six years old. She lives in Huron Twp and has a brother Jacob who is in pre-school. Audrey’s favorite color is pink. Her favorite food is spaghetti. Audrey really enjoys sleeping. Her favorite subject in school is reading. When Audrey grows up she would like to be a veterinarian. !Audrey’s family thinks she is a super star because she is so kind, helpful and smart. Ms. Kremer thinks Audrey is a Super Star because she is a great reader and speller, and because Audrey is kind and sharing to everyone.

May 27: Confirmation at 7PM NOTE: April 17 is NOT a half day. There is no school on Thursday, April 17.
