O I admire Steve Jobs because his work became a part of him, and that’s how I feel about all of my leadership experiences here at URI. Each one has become a part of me, and I have put my heart into the things that I am passionate about. I admire Jobs because he dared to be different and didn’t let anyone stand in his way of his dreams and aspirations.

“Be a Yardstick of quality. Some people aren’t used to an environment where excellence is expected.”

O We have had some unfortunate setbacks and violations in the Greek Community this year. These events have led to failure in some of the goals I had set for myself, and the community at large.

O I have learned not to lose faithO Advocate for the chapters that are working

hard to make themselves better; believe in the power of fraternity

O Our community has great things to offer:O 900+ New Members this yearO Over $120,000 raised for philanthropy this yearO We are now focusing on the future. We have

been preparing the next IFC board with new a new foundation of ideas and plans to improve the community, and solve many of the issues we have experienced.

O“Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.“

O This past Summer I was a member of the “Opening Minds, Opening Doors” rotation as a part of the Orientation Staff.

O Changed my outlook on what it meant to stand for something

O It gave me a new sense of confidenceO I learned to do what is right no matter

what the cost, to be an ally for others, and to celebrate diversity.

O “For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: "If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?" And whenever the answer has been "no" for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.”

O Self-Leadership

O This past Summer I was an Intern at Crimzon Rose

O My primary job was to do spreadsheets and data entry

O After week one I started to question why I was wasting 40 hours a week doing what I thought was meaningless/unfulfilling work

O I become more efficient with my data entry and spreadsheets so I could find time to help out in the sales department and with the merchandising team

O I felt happy in the workplace and I am glad I didn’t settle for just doing the task expected of me. I went above and beyond to make my own experience.

O Coordinating the Leadership Institute this past Summer had to be one of the best experiences of my life

O The program truly makes a difference in any persons life who has ever been a part of it. It has molded me into the leader I am today

O Its not about recognition, or money. This program is about connecting people with one another, and I am forever grateful and proud to be a part of the Institute Family

O I give a lot of credit to the leadership minor in helping me to realize what type of work environment I want to work in after I graduate

O When interviewing with various companies since November, I have had no luck in finding a place that felt right for me, and I refuse to settle for something that I won’t love to do

O That was all true until recently when I interviewed for a job with TCMPi

O I accepted my offer, and am extremely excited to start August 4th
