Robert Bruce Middle School has an inclusive, caring attitude towards modern innovative teaching. We believe that all students have a right to high quality education and that we as educators have a duty to provide it.
Our lessons are not only planned to perfection to include fun differentiation and to reach every child so as to stimulate and progress them to their full potential but they burst with vibrancy and lifelong learning skills. I hope that you enjoy looking through our prospectus, we have an open door policy and I look forward to meeting you very soon.

Student Voice is central and at the core and the function of our school.
Every school decision that is made is discussed with our students, they have the option to voice their opinion and feed back their thoughts and ideas. Our students take the lead in new staff appointments, meetings at all levels and feedback on teaching and learning.
Quite simply put they are our ambassadors.
KS2 have a creative curriculum which involves astunning starter and a fabulous finish with anextended homework which the whole familycan engage in. They are all taught in the creative wing and have themed lessons.
KS3 follow a GCSE pathway which is closelylinked to our upper schools to ensure thatall base knowledge is met ready for GCSEprogression.
In addition to this we have whole school themed weeks based on social, morale, cultural and spiritual events. We have themed lunches to go with these events.
Our pastoral care is second to none, we pride ourselves on our nurturing ethos. We are passionate about behaviour, safeguarding and learning all sitting hand in hand. We have a secure rewards and behaviour policy.
Our inclusion team work closely with our staff to ensure all interventions are in place forour students who need extra help and support.
Our students are in 5 vertical house teams and interhouse competitions are creative and causea buzz around our school.
