GSMA RAEX InitiativeRAEXstands forRoaming Agreement EXchangeand it is a GSMA initiative allowing GSMA Members to exchange more efficiently the data enclosed in the AA.14/IR.21 containing the most important data.In the past, Mobile Network Operators used a Word, Excel or PDF format of AA.14/IR.21The RAEX initiative defines standardized worldwide data exchange format and enables Mobile Operators to save time and effort spent implementing changes to roaming relationships.

The next RAEX version will split the AA.14 into 2 separate documents : Inter Operator Tariffs (IOT) and Operational Data (OpData). Launch date of the new version is February 1st, 2014.
