• Mobility refers to the movement of people or goods. It tends to give little consideration to non-motorized modes or land use factors affecting accessibility.

• Accessibility refers to the ability to reach destinations for desired goods, services and activities. Access is the ultimate goal of most transportation. This perspective considers all access options as potentially important.
