Update on Action Items

• Action Item 4 – Review possibility of creating and providing dedicated MPRN data for use in all IPT tests

• ESB Networks ISC have agreed to this in principle• Draft proposal being finalised

• Action Item 12 – RMDS to investigate the procedural issue whereby a duplicate MPRN is generated when a quotation is ‘rolled back’

– Proposal to progress the issue:• Modify the draft Working Practice as follows:

– Duplicate MPRNs that are not registered can be deleted.

– Duplicates that re registered can be deleted only if the supplier is informed in advance.

– The root cause is reported to the following IGG

– ESBN continue t take action to address the root causes.

• Vulnerable Customers

Issue raised by one supplier:

Market Systems will automatically delete life support Medical Equipment flag if a non-life support flag is advised

– If a Supplier submits a non-Life Support Medical Equipment flag on an 013 and the Market Systems are storing a life support Medical Equipment flag for that customer, 013 message will be rejected with reason code ‘IA’ and the supplier must actively delete life support flag using 013 message before resubmitting the 013 message for the non-life support flag

– As previously, Automatic deletion will occur in the case of Change of Legal Entity being advised on an 016 message or as part of a Change of Supplier

Discussion Request

DR 129 – Data changes to accommodate new unmetered lamp typesRaised by : ESB NetworksThis DR has been raised to add to the code value list for the

unmetered typecode in the retail market design.

• Two new unmetered lamp types will be used for public lighting in the near future

• Suppliers may need to take account of these in receiving the 700 and 701 messages.

• Solution The two new Lamp types are being added to the SAP ISU model.

Like-for-like Replacement of QH Meters

• Where a QH meter is replaced:– New serial no. is uploaded with meter

data that night.– Meter is updated on MV90– Old meter remains on SAP pending paper

copy– Meanwhile 341s still have old serial no– When CX is received, SAP is updated, 331

issues with retrospective date of effect.

• Issue for some suppliers in pre-billing• Serial Number on some 341s does

not match that in the 331

• Suggested solution:– Update SAP at he same time as MV90

I.e. same or next day.
