Internship report

Mrs. Mariachiara Astorri, born on 29.09.1994, has completed an internship from 23.02.2016 to 23.06.2016 at the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Germany (ITKAM, Italienische Handelskammer für Deutschland e V.). ITKAM is a bilateral association established in 1911, operating on the Italian and German market to promote and increase the economic relations and the cooperation between the companies of both countries.

During this period, Mrs. Astorri has been involved in the following projects: Direct support and assistance to the CEO:

- Implementation of the new reporting model for financial statements - Implementation of a new pipeline analysis report- Creation and monthly update of a Forecast report- Creation and monthly update of a Cash Flow report - Pricing analysis and controlling (Value Based pricing, Activity Based pricing)- HR management

Supporting the administration department:- Closure of accounts for the financial year 2015- Expenditures controlling

I have personally monitored the activities that Mrs. Mariachiara Astorri has undertaken while working for the ITKAM. Mrs. Astorri has worked mainly with me, supporting the controlling activity directly under my responsibility. Mrs. Astorri showed interest in the tasks she was performing and she has fulfilled them with efficacy and professionality. At the beginning of the working experience she was given goals that she was able to fully fulfill by the end of the internship. Mrs. Astorri proved a strong capability in organizing herself and her tasks with independency. Mrs. Astorri’s accounting and controlling knowledge was adequate when arriving to the ITKAM and has improved substantially, not only thanks to the daily activities but also because she deepened her knowledge by studying independently additional accounting literature.Mrs. Astorri has a good knowledge of the English language. During the internship she has begun to study German, also because it was useful for her daily tasks. Even when the available documentation was only in German she kept a high motivation and she fulfilled the tasks.The relationship between Mrs. Astorri and her supervisors and colleagues was always exemplary.I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mrs. Astorri for her work and wish her success and all the best for the future.
