I am pleased to write thisletter of recommendation in support of his candidacy for a teaching position in yourDistrict. He taught at Briarcliff Middle School in Mountain Lakes. He was diligent inhis instructional planning and was always prepared for every class, demonstrating acommendable work ethic. Teaching is a serious enterprise for Mr. Rizzo. He effectivelyused instructional time and worked at getting students involved in the leaming process.Every lesson had a variety of creative activities which established a very lively andinteractive classroom. He is an effective learning facilitator who creates exciiement in theclassroom for leaming.
He was effective in establishing a productive and orderly classroom environment.He treated his students with respect and was respected by his students who enjoyed histeaching style. There was always a high level of excitement in his classroom. He wassensitive to the needs of his special education students in his classes and worked hard atgetting them involved in the lesson. He has a special affinity for these students.
Mt. Rizzo is an effective communicator and is able to relate to any age group injunior high and senior high school. He is also able to use technology in-the classroomand is conversant with current trends in Social Studies education, and with the NewJersey Core Content Standards. He would also be a valuable asset to your school,sathletic program. He has eamed several varsity letters in sports, and has experience incoaching.
