• No matter how excellent the education & health care facilities of the institution, an individual with autism will not show a positive development, if their family does not support and provide an appropriate education for the their special family member.
• This statement is proved by the case studies of Zaky and Abhy, where the whole family, both parents and siblings support all education efforts, at all time for independence
Support from Abhy family • Applying the rules at home that should be followed by all
members of the family, so Abhy understand norms & regulations
• Giving Abhy daily tasks that become obligations• Help find a way if he finds difficulty in performing tasks of
social, academic by giving an example or divert to things that are visual
• The provision of support also gives a challenge to acquire the skills preferred
• Focus on his strengths and do not exaggerate on shortcomings
• Involving in any family event and other social activities to learn to deal with sensitivity to the crowd and encouraging him to find ways to cope with their own business
• Support for Zaki will be presented by his mother and his sibling
