Responsibility How I Will Overcome This
Illness/Injury of the people involved.
All Myself and the other people involved (model, Make-up and hair etc)
If it’s the case of the model being ill or injured, I will have to contact my substitute 24 hours beforehand. If myself or any of the others involved are ill or injured then I will have to immediately rearrange a newer date and ensure none of the people involved have other projects on this date.
Memory card full/technical difficulties with the camera and other equipment used.
All Myself I will be clearing the camera of memory beforehand. However, If ‘memory full’ occurs I will use a back-up memory card which I will bring along to the photoshoot, this ensures I am fully covered and takes the stress and panic away if it does occur. Another way I could overcome this is by deleting images of the model that I do not think are relevant and/or suitable the images I delete may also be blurry or too dark/too light.
Broken equipment
All Myself As most of the equipment used will be equipment borrowed from the College, it will be my biggest priority to ensure none of the equipment becomes damaged or broken. If this situation occurs immediate rescheduling will take place until we can find an alternate.
Low Battery
All Myself Before the night of the photoshoot, the camera will be charged. As the photoshoot will be indoors, plugs will be available to recharge the camera if necessary. This means I will bring the charger to the location.

Responsibility How I Will Overcome This
If the model doesn’t meet the expectations of the photoshoot
All Myself I have made sure that I have picked a model (to act as an artist featured in my magazine) who is the most appropriate for the type of photoshoot I want to achieve for my magazine. However, some complications may occur and primarily this will be the fault of the model, but it is my responsibility as the photographer of the shoot to make sure she is aware of what I want to achieve for my magazine. This is important as it allows any issues or concerns to be resolved beforehand.
Lighting All N/A The lighting in the chosen location may not be sufficient for the results that I want to achieve for my photoshoot. I will run a ‘test photoshoot’ a few days beforehand to know what kind of lighting I will be working with for the day of the actual photoshoot. This test run will also allow me to view what kind of environment I will be working in and will reduce the problems as I will be familiar with the space I will be working in.
Props All Myself, hair/make-up
My photoshoot will not need too many props as I want to achieve quite a natural look so It can fit in with the interview with the artist featured in my magazine. However, the models hair and make-up will be styled in many different ways too add to the aesthetic of my magazines front cover and double page spread. The hair and make-up will be the responsibility of the person doing it but if the situation occurs when their materials and other items they need become broken/damaged/unavailable we will either have to reschedule or try and manipulate the look using programmes such as; Photoshop. Another alternate could be going out and buying extras of the things we need or use my own.
Electricals
All Myself As there will be many electrical equipment used throughout my photoshoot, general health and safety will be used whilst the photoshoot takes place. Switches will be turned off when an electrical device is not in us, this ensures that the environment is a safe environment for all involved.

Software Post production editing suite.
Myself Once I am editing my final magazine, I will ALWAYS save my work every 5-10 minutes. This makes sure that all of my work is safely saved as there is always a risk of a software crashing. The software I will mainly be using is ‘in-Design’ but, I will also be using ‘Photoshop CS5.1’ and ‘Microsoft Word’
General Health and Safety
All Myself / Others involved
General health and safety must be used at all times throughout the photoshoot. Although the safety of myself and the other individuals involved within the shoot is a major priority, we must also respect the equipment, environment and the facilities that are being used. To make sure this is to the best standard everyone must familiarize themselves with the regulation of the item they are using.
Magazine not following conventions --------Magazine not being to the standard it should.
Post production editing suite
Myself When editing my final magazine, I must find a balance between creativity and conventions. To do this, I will refer back to my ‘Research & Planning’ on my blog (g321katymarwood.blogspot.com) I will do this frequently to make sure that I am following the words and the research that I found during this particular time of the process. During my time of research, I found images that I want my final shots to look like. To make sure this is achieved, I will print out these images and show them to the model.
