It was a day of bright sunshine and Angela and John
Hunter were skiing in the mountains of Colorado. They
had got married just the day before and had flown to
America for their honeymoon. The
sk ng con ditions were
perfect but t hey decided t o stop to admire t he view and
take some photos. They
took
off their skis and had
started taking photos when Angela suddenly notice d
another
skier dressed all in blue coming down t he
mountain towards them. He was completely out of
control.
Angela tr ied to get out of the way but could not move
fast without her skis. The next th ing she felt was a rush of
air and a sensation of the blue skier passing right through
her.
Immediately afterwards the skier disappeared from view.
Angela found she could not move. She looked around her
but John was nowhere
to
be seen. Then in the distance

out
to him. He called back and she felt another rush of air
pass through her body. The sky seemed suddenly black
but behind her a bright blue light lit up the forest. Come
with me he called again. I have waited six moons for
you.
Angela has never been seen again. And now 20 years
later John is still in the mountains of Colorado waiting
for the return of t he blue skie r and t he only woman he
has ever loved.

Even optimistic people cannot hide from the

of
the

There may also be positive side-effects to a

re se rve with a Ugandan he had met at
the
conference w ho happened to be a guide.
After eight hou rs of walking through the
forest they still hadn t seen any wild
animals. In fact the only animal they had
seen was an old grey donkey which
followed them and
started
to bray so
loudly
that
no
other
animals would
come
near. The guide suggested that he went on
ahead to see w ha t he could find and
to
see
if he could get rid of the donkey. 3
Two hours later. the guide had st

and McWhale was beginning to get
worried. 4 Ten minutes later he
had fallen asleep. He wo ke up suddenly
whe n he heard a deep growl which seemed
to be coming from very nearby
He put on his glasses and glanced around
him to see what was making the strange
noise. He could
see

he had ever seen. ot only that but
the
gorilla was dressed up in a clown s costume.
When he saw McW hale the gorilla began

The authorities have still

the
strange individual responsible for dressing
the gorillas up in this way Psychologists are
