“Having lived in the Middle East for the first 15 years of my life, I mainly focuse on creating art that relates to the events that are going on there right now; in particular, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Before I moved to the US, I used to participate in a lot of protests, rallies, and parades against the ongoing violence between the two sides. I have seen a lot of unfortunate things, which led my wanting to do all I can to spread awareness of the situation and try to make a difference. This is a social justice issue that I am most passionate about.”

“Spending one year in Florence, Italy working on my Masters degree in Interior Design inspired many things in me. One was photography. I became interested in how each of us sees the same things, but views them differently. This was an opportunity to show others what I see.”
