Frankie Jackson, along with other members of the Technology Services leadership team, participated in the Cypress Fairbanks ISD Rigor Relevance and Relationships (RRR) Conference at the Berry Center on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. One of the highlights from the conference was the key note speaker, Lee Cockerell, where he talked about Disney Magic. The title of his talk was YOU Can Create Disney Magic Too. Rigor Relevance and Relationships (RRR) ConferenceOffice 365 Tips and Tricks

On Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in the morning, Frankie Jackson participated Steve Stone’s Office 365 Tips and Tricks. This was at the Cypress Fairbanks ISD Rigor Relevance and Relationships (RRR) Conference held at the Berry Center.

Tips including using Microsoft Office Apps for creating, communicating, and collaborating on your mobile device and tablet - Not only that, but you can then open and edit files through OneDrive or Google Drive on your PC or MAC by using Office 2013/2016.

The great news was that our technology, including wireless access was OUTSTANDING. There was not ONE reported issue. Participants not knowing who our technology staff was, including the presenters, commented on how great our technology was.

Needless to say, Technology Services is VERY PROUD. Thankyou Team!

Rigor Relevance and Relationships (RRR) ConferenceCustomer Rules

On Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in the afternoon, Frankie Jackson participated Lee Cockerell’s workshop on Customer Rules. This was at the Cypress Fairbanks ISD Rigor Relevance and Relationships (RRR) Conference held at the Berry Center.

One example is rule #3, Great Service Follows The Law of Gravity. The top person must talk about customer service relentlessly, they must support it with resources and they must constantly communicate with their customers and their employees to find out what they can do to support a customer-centric organization. The most important communication they can do is to listen intently to what their customers and employees are telling them and to get out into their businesses to find out the truth.

The Customer Care Center team is currently conducting a book review on his book. Exciting ideas are in store for our CCC team and our customers!

On Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in the afternoon at the Cypress Fairbanks ISD Rigor Relevance and Relationships (RRR) Conference held at the Berry Center, Frankie Jackson participated Mary Smith’s workshop on I Want It All. Mary presented a balanced approach to keeping our lives in balance. Using a unique style coupled with her background in education, she came across as being authentic with some great advice. The Technology Services team is considering bringing her in for a back to school welcome back ceremony!

Rigor Relevance and Relationships (RRR) ConferenceFunny Is The New Serious

On Thursday, June 8, 2017 in the morning at the Cypress Fairbanks ISD Rigor Relevance and Relationships (RRR) Conference held at the Berry Center, Frankie Jackson participated in David Glickman’s keynote speech about Funny is the New Serious. He was a former comedian and he gave compelling reasons about why humor in the workplace is so funny. He challenged all of us to change our perspective to produce powerful results. Why is everyone so serious? Just look around the average workplace and you’ll see most employees dealing with the stress of constant change, increased expectations, and having to do more with less. Well, the good news is that there’s a successful strategy to approach these challenges.

He talked about how changing your perspective you will experience a profound way of handling these frustrations. It was a full-blown, high-energy one-man show.

Our thanks to Chris Seale, the Cy-Fair high school campus technician and Craig Parlament, the Cy Ranch campus technician! Both supported the Rigor, Relevance, and Relationships (RRR) conference all week, June 5-9, 2017. Their responsibilities included setting up the labs and providing ongoing support through the week! We heard raving reviews about how responsive they were and how well the technology performed!
