STEP 1
Removing the McMillan Stock
1.1 Loosen and remove the front stock screw using the 5 mm hex wrench as shown.
1.2 Remove the rear stock screw using the 5mm hex wrench and separate action from stock.

STEP 2
Installing the PSR-SSG Chassis onto the barrelled action
2.1 Remove the 2 grip insert pins and the grip insert using the 1/8 hex wrench.
2.2 Shown here with receiver being installed into chassis.

2.3 Coat both new Chassis screws, supplied with the chassis, with a small amount of Loctite #243.
2.4 Install the rear chassis screw (short) hand tight with 5mm hex.
2.5 Install the front (long) Chassis screw hand tight with 5mm hex.
2.6 Tighten both Chassis screws to 65 inch lbs.

STEP 3
Installing the Hogue Black Grip onto the Chassis
3.1 Put washer on cap screw and insert into grip aligning with threaded hole in grip insert.
3.2 Tighten the grip screw using the 3/16 Hex Wrench.

Folding stock mechanism Stock should fold and be held firmly in place by stud on left side of chassis.
Cheek rest Cheek rest should move up and down and be secured at desired height.
Magazine Check magazine fit.
Assembly Visual and Function Inspection Check List
1. Final assembly inspection visual and function testing must be done before moving rifles to the range and documented on the assembly final check list.
2. This check list must stay with the job order through to packaging
3. Check List is found in ISO Folder under SIG 4-228
