Richardson Jr., & William Cowan

• First product – plastic e-clamps

• Started in a small garage in Chicago

• Brothers Charles & Craig Richardson took over after they incorporated and Cowan exited the business

• First Richco catalog was printed in the late 1950s

• 1st international manufacturing operation was opened in Gravesend, England in 1975

• Since then, we have expanded manufacturing to include Spain and China

• What is it? Any molded part that is not part of the proprietary line (not in the catalog)

• Richco can manufacture two types of custom molded products:– Modified Proprietary Products

• Using inserts, a variety of part combinations are available• Secondary operations: special lengths, taping, in-line

packaging, etc.• Other modifications: material, color, dimension, etc.
