Then the Ridgeland Chamber’s 2016-2017 Junior Diplomat Program is for you!Who’s eligible? 11th and 12th grade students who are Ridgeland residents and
attend Ridgeland High School, Madison Ridgeland Academy, St. Joseph Catholic School, Jackson Academy, Jackson Prep and St. Andrew’s Episcopal School.
Applications may be accessed online at www.ridgelandchamber.com, picked up at the RidgelandChamber office or at participating schools.
Deadline to apply is Friday, August 19th. Call the Chamber office at 601-991-9996 for more information.

ProSource Wholesale ~ The Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony for ProSource Wholesale located at 6370 Cole Road. ProSource was developed in response to the needs of a special niche in the flooring industry – the trade professional. ProSource has grown to become the largest buyer of floor coverings in America. Ridgeland is the only city in the state to boast a ProSource Wholesale showroom.
M7 Coffeehouse ~ Members of the Ridgeland Chamber welcomed M7 Coffeehouse, located at 111 N. Wheatley Street, with a ribbon cutting. M7 Coffeehouse specializes in bean fruit coffees, local breads and honey. M7 Coffeehouse provides a local meeting site where guests can gather to visit over a cup of coffee, a sandwich or pastry.
Machelle’s Graphic Creations ~ Ridgeland Chamber members celebrated the grand opening of Machelle’s Graphic Creations located in Oak Place shopping center at 587 Highway 51 North, Suite E-2. Machelle’s Graphic Creations specializes in custom gifts ranging from mouse pads and license plates to coffee mugs and key chains. The store also offers letterhead, stationary and business cards and plans to offer monogramming in the near future.
Bumps and Beyond, LLC ~ Members of the Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce welcomed Bumps and Beyond, located at 655 Lake Harbour Drive, Suite 1100. Bumps and Beyond is an upscale boutique without the boutique price tag. The store offers new and gently worn maternity and children’s clothing (newborn to size 16) at affordable prices.
The Foundry Mall ~ The Ridgeland Chamber celebrated a ribbon cutting ceremony for The Foundry Mall located at 820 Wilson Drive. The Foundry Mall is the South’s newest specialty vendor mall. With over 15,000 square feet, the mall’s merchants offer a variety of products, creations and services. Vendors feature an assortment of antiques, vintage items, hand painted furniture, collectables, handcrafted jewelry, apparel, custom pillows and drapery, as well as art, home accessories and upscale consignment items.

Junior Diplomat Scholarship WinnersThe Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce announced its annual Junior
Diplomat scholarship winners during a celebration ceremony at the Electric Power Association of MS located at 665 Highland Colony Parkway.
Natalene Vonkchalee, a senior at Ridgeland High School was awarded the 2016 Junior Diplomat of the Year $1,000 scholarship. The scholarship was made possible by Cline Tours, Regions Bank and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Ann Prewitt Realty.
Juliette Richert and Julius Wells, seniors at Ridgeland High School, both received $500 Spirit of Junior Diplomat Awards. The scholarships were awarded by BankPlus and Community Bank.
Rochelle Culp, MS Tobacco-Free Coalition of Madison, Yazoo and Holmes Counties, presented a dynamic program and also provided refreshments for the event.

The Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce will welcome new members who have joined the Chamber since March 1, 2016 with a luncheon, Friday, August 5th. The luncheon, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., will be held at the C Spire building located in the Renaissance, 1018 Highland Colony Parkway, 1st Floor.
