VOCABULARY• Rhythm = A repetition

of movement, like in music or dance. It is a regular or harmonious pattern created by repeating one or more of the elements of art.

• The pieces of an artwork can replicate the musical experience of rhythm visually. Repeated objects can set up a rhythm, similar to a beat, that causes one’s eye to dance around the artwork.
