power switch. Turning clockwise

from OFF, power is supplied, and

turning further to the right increases

volume.

Controls rhythm tempo in

a wide range from slow

(J = 50) to quick (J = 200);

instrument (bass drum) is emphasiz-

ed, while the sound of treble pur-

cussion instrument (cymbal, hi-hat)

is weakened and finally cancelled. When turned

clockwise, the sound of cymbal and hi-hat are

emphasized, while the sound of bass drum is

weakened and finally cancelled.

With the Balance Control, subtle variation ofrhythm

is possible.

VARI. B:

AUTO:

All twenty-seven rhythms provided

by the Rhythm Selector and Varia-

tion Selector can be performed in

three ways using Arrange Selector.

VARI. A: Normal performance in

constant rhythm pat-

tem.

Cautions in Use

1. Install the Rhythm Arranger away from fluores-

cent or neon lamps, transfomiers and the like

since they may cause noises.

2. The Rhythm Arranger can provide undistorted

sound even if its volume control is set at maxi-

mum, however, when the Rh5rthm Arranger's

volume output exceeds the capacity of the

amplifier, sound will lose sharpness. Use an

amplifier having enou^ capacity for the Arrang-

er's output, and set volume moderately.

3* Since the Rhythm Arranger's octave range is

extremely wide, some kinds of amplifiers mayproduce distorted sound. Use a high quality

amplifier having superior separation performance.

4. Avoid use in hot and humid places. Periodically

clean away dirt and dust.
