DARKROOM PHOTOGRAPHY

This series of

black and white

photographs

explore the

relationship between

dance and nature. I did

a photoshoot at the

Oak Park and Chicago

Convservatories;

Oak park the School

of Dance; and lake

michigan. The images

were combined in

the darkroom with a

process called negative

sandwiching. The

collaged image was

then toned different

colors based upon

the plant or aspect of

nature it represented.
