2. You cannot solve all the problems in the world. Choose a cause & focus your energies.

4. Don’t impose project on communities based on your own “expert” knowledge. Rather, engage in grassroots self-empowerment.
5. Empower the poorest of the poor with the greatest need.
6. Let the community come up with their own
needs assessment.
