Your Aquaguard Total Reviva has a multi-stage Reverse Osmosis Purification process to make water both chemically and microbiologically potable by reducing ionic particles including Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), hardness, lead, heavy metal, contaminants and pesticides as well as removing disease-causing bacteria, virus, protozoa and cysts. Consequently, reviving the original taste and purity of water.

Note: Please do not be misled. RO water purifiers should be used only in areas where water taste brackish or 'khaara'. Using RO water purifiers in areas where water has low TDS (i.e. it tastes normal) may be detrimental to health

The unique RO processYour Aquaguard Total Reviva is equipped with a multi-stage unique Reverse Osmosis purification process, to give you pure, fresh water. Reverse Osmosis is a membrane filtration process in which the water is passed under high pressure through an advanced Thin Film Composite(TFC) Membrane with a 0.0001 micron pore size. The output of the membrane is purified water, free from micro-organisms and with reduced Total Dissolved Solids.

Installing your Aquaguard Total RevivaMake sure that your Aquaguard Total Reviva is installed by a trained Eureka Forbes Service Technician

1. Input water must be tested for Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and Total Hardness

2. Install your Aquaguard Total Reviva in a dry, ventilated place- Keep it away from direct sunlight, heating devices or areas below freezing temperature - You can keep it on the kitchen counter or on a special wall-mounted stand*

3. Connect only cold tap water - Filters can be damaged if connected to hot tap water. Ensure the input water temperature is

0in the range of 5-45 C2- Make sure that the tap water pressure is between 0.60 and 2.0 kg/cm square

- The proportion of purified and reject water flow is preset at 1:3

4. Flush filter and membrane thoroughly and separately - This must be done prior to collecting the water in the storage tank

5. Make sure that the reject water hose is placed lower than the tap of the purifier- If not, water might flow back into the purifier- Make sure that the purifier is installed within a distance of 1.0 m from the tap water supply- Make sure that you connect it to a 230 V power outlet- Do not install the purifier in a place where water or rain could leak into it

2Note: If the input water pressure is more than 2 kg/cm , installation of a PRV (Pressure Reducing Valve) is required.* Available at extra cost

Questions you may have about RO technologyWhat is Reverse Osmosis?Reverse Osmosis (RO) is the reversal of the natural flow of osmosis. In water purification systems, Reverse Osmosis is used to separate the salts and other heavy metals from pure water.

What is Aquaguard Total RO Reviva?Aquaguard Total Reviva is a domestic RO system that uses Reverse Osmosis to remove chemical contaminants like heavy metals, lead, excess TDS dissolved in water and micro-biological impurities. The result is pure, safe water that tastes good and is healthy to drink.

How do I know which purifier I need for my home/office? Water treatment is like any other treatment of your health - you first need to know what's wrong with your water, before you treat it. Aquaguard Total, the leader in water purification for 29 years, has a range of products using different technologies - ranging from RO, NF to UV to UF with optional attachments to treat excess iron, hardness and arsenic in water. Is RO better technology compared to Ultraviolet (UV)? Different water quality needs different treatment technology. So if your water has microbial, organic and physical contamination, a UV purifier is ideal. However, if your water, in addition to the above, also contains TDS, heavy metals and other pollutants, you will need to install a RO purifier. Both technologies are good and they each serve a different purpose.
