• The goal was simple; stop the section from dissolving, turn it around and make it thrive.

• January 2013 – Build a New Foundation

Difficult Decisions• Reduced Section Meetings to the minimum

requirement of 4/Year• Cancel the Spring Conference• Time to Build

Before Dinner Presentation by James Lawrence“Beyond Form Strom Norm & Perform – High Performance Teaming”

The presentation addresses using concepts of high performance teaming to develop and lead high performance teams.

After Dinner Presentation by James Lawrence“The Quality Space – Defining, Measuring, & Improving a Quality Culture”

The presentation gives a perspective of assessing and improving a quality culture in a technical organization. will be followed by a “Team Wisdom” Jeopardy contest among the attendees.

• Our webmaster created a new web site that is continuously being up-dated. Other sections also called, for information and help, to create a web site, for their section. www.asq810.org

• A comprehensive schedule for 2015 is posted on our web site.

• Attendance of Section Meetings increased from 12 to 40

• January 2015: 12 SLC Members attended the SLC Meeting, in a Snow Storm. Crowded around a small round table

• February, Cambria Suites purchased larger tables, for our SLC meetings

• Currently 14-SLC Members and Growing

• Excited, in the transformation, for our section over the past 2½ years

• Spring Conference – 2015 had 50 members attending over the 2-days

• Focusing on Member Value is the key to our success.

• May 2015 – Planning to broadcast our section meetings through Go-To Meeting

• Region 8 Training: We will host the Region 8 Training in September 2015

• Joining with the local ASME for special joint meetings and events
