WHAT IS URBACT ?

URBACT is a European exchange and learning programme promoting sustainable urban development

URBACT enables cities to work together to develop solutions to major urban challenges, reaffirming the key role they play in facing increasingly complex societal changes

URBACT helps cites to exchange and work together towards pragmatic solutions that are new and sustainable, and that integrate the economic, social and environmental dimensions of urban development

URBACT enables cities to share good practices and lessons learned by gathering experience of professionals involved in urban policies throughout Europe

URBACT involves 255 cities, 29 countries, and more than 5.000 active participating partners

URBACT is jointly financed by ERDF and the Member States
